Jessie J

Jessica Ellen Cornish (also known as Jessie J) is an English musician and singer. Her unique style of music which blends soul along with electropop, pop, and hip-hop has earned her not just fame but also recognition from a young age. She has also earned several awards and nominations, like the 2011 'Critics Choice Brit Award' and the BBC's Sound of 2011.' Her career began at the very young age of 11, when she was featured in "Whistle Down the Wind,' an original musical composed by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. Then, she joined the National Youth Music Theater and appeared in their 2002 show The Late Sleepers'. Her fame was boosted in the year 2011 when she released her first album of studio work 'Who You Are,' which was released on February 28. In the UK in particular, the album sold 105,000 copies, whereas in the US it sold 34,000. The album debuted as #2 in the UK Albums Chart and number 11 on the US Billboard 200.
